Some parents don't care that much about the gender of their future newborn. However, if you and your partner have an overwhelmong preference for a boy, there are some techniques you are able to
employ to tip the odds towards having a baby of the sex you desire. Obviously, there are no absolute guarantees and the truth to always keep in mind is that having a healthy baby is more important
than anything else.
There are, certainly, a range of techniques that are utilized in expensive fertility clinics such as artificial insemination using only female or only male sperm. This is done by taking out as many
of the sperm of the unwanted sex from the sperm sample and then inseminating the woman with what remains. As I said, these clinical techniques are expensive and occasionally fail to generate the
wanted end result.
The good news is that there are three, scientifically proven techniques that parents can use at home to greatly increase the odds of conceiving a baby of the sex that is desired. There is no
significant expense, if any, connected with these strategies so the door is open for any parents, regardless of their economic circumstances. Although the employment of any technique to pre-determine
the sex of a child may be controversial in some circles, the techniques we will take a look at here are not only ethical but safe.
The first method is based on the differing nature or characteristics of male vs. Female sperm. The boy sperm carry the Y chromosome while the female contain the X chromosome. If the first sperm to
reach and penetrate the egg is a boy sperm, then a baby boy will be conceived. However, if the egg is fertilized by a female lesbian live
sperm, a girl will be born nine months later. The purpose of this first technique is to try to control which kind of sperm has the best opportunity to reaching the egg.
It is important to understand the natural characteristics of each sex of sperm. Boy sperm are more agile and energetic and swim faster than female sperm. However, male sperm do not live very long
when compared to female sperm. Girl sperm are leisurely swimmers and they are larger in size than their male counterparts. Female sperm can be expected to live for a few days longer than male
The first strategy takes advantage of these differences by timing the incidence of sexual intercourse with relation to the female's projected date of ovulation. For the best chances of conceiving a
male child, intercourse should be timed to occur as close to the date of ovulation as possible. This gives the faster swimming male sperm the advantage in terms of being first to reach the egg.
However, if a female child is desired, intercourse should be timed to occur a few days before the expected date of ovulation. In this way, the male sperm will probably be dead before the egg even
enters the uterus and the more leisurely swimming female sperm will have the necessary time to swim up the vagina and into the cervix so as to arrive when the egg has just come into the uterus.
The second technique is similar to the first in that it uses the same principal of differing sperm characteristics. This technique is based on sexual positions during intercourse. If a boy child is
desired, the sexual positions that allow the deepest penetration of the penis into the vagina should be employed and ejaculation should occur at the place of deepest penetration. This places the
sperm as near to the opening of the cervix as possible, thus shortening the journey for the faster swimming, sooner to die, male sperm. If a female baby is desired, however, sexual positions that
allow only shallow penetration should be employed and ejaculation should be controlled to occur at the shallowest possible place within the vagina. The result of this method is to lengthen the
journey to the egg, thus giving the girl sperm a distinct advantage.
The third and final technique has to do with controlling the acidity or alkalinity of the woman's vagina and cervix. This can be done through diet and/or certain vaginal douches. Female sperm

survive best in acidic conditions while male sperm prefer an alkaline environment better. Certain foods are more
acidic and others are more alkaline. Certain douching solutions are designed to be acidic while others are made to be alkaline.
By now, it should be easy to see that all three techniques can be used together to strengthen the odds of tipping the scales in the direction you yearn for. Good luck! I hope you are victorious in
pre-determining the sex of your child. As I said, there is no 100 percent guarantee and the most essential thing is to have a healthy baby, whether it be a boy or a girl. Any child is one of the
greatest gifts that life can offer.
